I was 11 when I first fell in love with a pair of shoes: fluorescent green Pumas with jump-higher engineering and matching laces. Shoes have enriched my life ever since.

I have most especially loved slapping around in flip-flops (or even just looking at them on winter days) and wearing antique men's shoes till I can feel the sidewalk through their slippery leather soles.

I confess to making way too many snap judgements about people after checking out their foot fashion. But you understand, because you love shoes too! Right?
